Mr. Bud Khouri is currently serving as Chief Engineer at MK Strata LLC. (MK Strata).  Prior to joining MK Strata, he was the Executive Vice President of Earth Tech, LLC - a Menard Company (2008 to 2024), and was in charge of the heavy civil division in the Southeast Region, USA. Mr. Khouri has gained over 40 years of experience in both the design and construction fields of Civil Engineering with national design consulting firms and construction companies including roles as Engineering Manager with The Reinforced Earth Company (1988 to 1992), Engineering Manager with RGW Bridge Construction (1992 to 1994), Vice President with Coastal Caisson/Bauer of America (1994 to 2000), Vice Present/COO for Treviicos South (2000 to 2005) and Vice President with Nodarse & Associates (2006 to 2008). 

Mr. Khouri brings extensive engineering design experience across a broad range of complex geotechnical and structural systems, including concrete and steel bridges, box culverts, bridge abutments, and both conventional and mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) retaining walls. His expertise encompasses the planning, execution, and interpretation of deep foundation load testing programs for bridges and high-rise structures, as well as the design and implementation of advanced ground improvement solutions such as vibro replacement and vibro compaction, cement sand vertical columns (CSV), ductile iron piles, compaction grouting, rigid inclusions, and deep cutoff walls. He has led subsurface investigation programs, designed auger cast pile foundations, and conducted research and testing on post-grouted drilled shafts to optimize performance and constructability. 

Complementing his technical practice, he is a recognized industry contributor with a strong professional reputation and high visibility as a geotechnical leader in the region, authoring dozens of technical publications and delivering presentations at regional and national conferences on deep foundations and ground improvement technologies.
