MK Strata was formed from a shared vision among experienced professionals of what responsible engineering practice demands. That vision is grounded in sound judgment, quality of execution, responsiveness, and accountability to those who rely on our work. These principles matter most when conditions are complex and decisions carry real consequences, as they often do in geotechnical engineering.


MK Strata is the result of our collaboration, a company built on disciplined engineering practice, mutual respect, trust, and long-term planning both for our clients and within the company. We believe trust is an essential aspect of geotechnical engineering: trust in the data, trust in our judgment, and trust that decisions made below the surface will support everything built above it.


We serve owners and AEC clients in the Southeast US with responsiveness, technical rigor, and practical solutions. We focus on clear communication, workable engineering recommendations, and judgment that supports both design intent and field conditions.
