Mr. Chalise brings 25 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing, with more than two decades focused on complex infrastructure projects throughout Florida. His work spans transportation, water and wastewater, power, heavy industrial, and vertical development projects, supporting owners and design teams with practical, technically sound recommendations.

Since 2004, he has managed geotechnical exploration programs, performed engineering analyses, and developed foundation recommendations for roadways, bridges, stormwater systems, water and sewer infrastructure, retaining structures, buildings, substations, and power line structures. He has provided long term support on major mining and chemical facilities and has delivered projects for both public and private sector clients.Mr. Chalise’s technical experience includes shallow and deep foundation analysis, retaining wall design support, seepage and slope stability evaluations for earthen embankment dams, culvert and spillway assessments, and construction quality control. His early career in threshold inspection, post tensioning inspection, and materials testing provides him with a strong understanding of field performance and constructability.

He has managed and completed numerous FDOT projects and has served as a contract manager for continuing services contracts supporting geotechnical and materials testing services.At MK Strata, Mr. Chalise provides senior technical oversight of investigations, analyses, and foundation recommendations, helping project teams manage subsurface risk and advance projects with confidence.
